I love being able to go through the process and feel confident that all the right questions are being asked to get the largest refund possible. I've been using TT since 2005! The one thing I wrestled with this year was form 8889. It may just be the wording that the IRS uses but the information that ended up on the form didn't really seem accurate. Has anyone examined it? Very confusing language... I was afraid to change the info on the form because I was happy with my refund & didn't want to take the chance of entering wrong information.
What's great about it: I like not spending hundreds of $$ to file my taxes
What's not so great: the sales tax piece was not available until 2 days ago

It's forcing me to file an e-return

I hate what the program is trying to make me do this year.
I've never before been forced to file my return on line. I think I did this time and I didn't want to. I also tried to change the name of the bank where I wanted my refund to go and it wouldn't let me change it.
I think I now have a form filed by e-file that has one bank for my refund and I may now have a second bank.
Why did you guys change the program. I just want to print my forms and mail them in. I don't care if it takes me longer to get my refund.
I'm going to delete the program and try to start again.
What's great about it: It's always been easy to use in the past
What's not so great: Something has changed in the program, it's making me file an e-file

I love how turbo tax takes my last years return and compares and sends the info. to this year's returns; saving me lots of time and very informative. Now I have more time for hula and ukulele.
What's great about it: It was great to have most of my info. transferred

I've been a TurboTax user for 10+ years.
I have always liked the ease of filling out my taxes with the assistance of your software.
The step by step process of walking someone through all parts of the filing process makes me more confident that I have filled out the forms correctly, AND I haven't missed any tax savings opportunities.
This year I had a very unusual tax situation. I was able to go on-line to TurboTax website and get an answer to my question within about 5 minutes. Wow! That was really easy.

I use TurboTax year after year because it is quick, clear and pulls previous year data in to save me time. Love the heads up on audit flags i may or may not have. makes me sleep a bit better!
What's great about it: like the thoroughness of the descriptions on items i didn't understand
