Easy Taxes

Year after year, TurboTax is becoming a pain-free method of doing taxes. Great tool with very nice user interface.
What's great about it: Mature process: No Tears
What's not so great: Not cheap!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've used Turbo Tax several years in a row now. Overall, it's a great product and easy to use. I run into the most problems if it finds an "error" at the end. If an error is found and I've entered all of the information and answered all questions, Turbo Tax should be able to fix the error. If a form doesn't need to be included, then the program shouldn't include it. I shouldn't be given the error and have to figure out how to delete the form (which, honestly, took me HOURS). The form should never have been prepared. This year was also the first time we've sold/purchased a home. Navigating the closing costs and other fees/amounts that were able to be included in deductions was an absolute NIGHTMARE. There was little/no guidance on this. My closing statements were completely confusing, at best, and at times, I could not figure out what the program was even asking for me to enter. I'm glad I won't have to go through that for a long time! Overall though, I think this is a great product, easy to use and navigate. I will definitely buy it again!
What's great about it: Easy to enter information
What's not so great: Difficult to understand/fix errors, Not good at explaining what is/is not deductible sometimes

good and not-so-good

1. straight-forward, but if user decides to chg amount of fed refund to apply to estimated taxes for 2014, no obvious way to make the chg.
2. clicking on print at end of process doesn't print preview as expected even though adobe reader is already installed on PC (and is used to open and read PDF files, including return saved as PDF# - must save as pdf BEFORE print preview and print are enabled. #same issue was true for turbo tax for tax year 2012)
