i have been using turbo tax for some years now and find it easy to do , edit if needed and the program has excellent explainations

pretty easy

This was my first time doing my taxes using the long form. It would have been a nightmare before but this turbo system breaks it down in laymans terms and gets all the information that is needed and all I have to do is answer questions and enter numbers. Save your forms from the previous year and have all the info ready for this year (i.e. w-2s and 1099's etc) and it's a breeze and by checking the different ways that I could file turbo saved me money!
What's great about it: takes a little time to review all options for filing but definitely worth it

Sometimes I wish I knew a little more clearly what the errors mean. I wish they were more fully explained so I knew how to correct them.
What's great about it: Time efficient
What's not so great: Errors misunderstood
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Makes the Complex Simpler

Appreciated the interview option to make sure I didn't miss some potential deductions. Excellent at picking up carry over from previous year if available. Biggest point for me was help in the areas of home office, employee business expenses, and related areas on some of the complicated schedules.
What's great about it: Interview approach is excellent, suggested some areas I had not considered. Good explanations for items on some schedule

I have used TurboTax for more than 20 years and it gets better every year. I'll do my taxes from now until there are no more taxes (that is FOREVER)
