What's the Matter with Kansas

Specifically, Turbotax didn't know that my KPERS pension is exempt from state tax. It looked like I owed taxes until I went to view the forms and checked the little box on the Schedule S and suddenly I had a refund due. This policy has been in place many years so I thought Turbotax would know.
Then I efiled my Kansas tax through the state efile system and found they had a formula to calculate a Use Tax. I missed that while using Turbotax.
Other than that I have been using Turbotax for several years and am very satisfied.
What's great about it: Interview process was detailed and thorough.
What's not so great: However, Turbotax missed a couple things for my state.

I really appreciate how easy and intuitive Turbo tax has been to use.
What's great about it: all info is a click away, including common questions with answers.
What's not so great: none
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I recommend this to friends even though
it will transfer information from cheaper progams

Great Tax Prepraration !

Easy to use with all tax bases covered! Its like having a tax accountant looking over your shoulder as you prepare your taxes!

Thorough

I like TurboTax because it is thorough and you can go back & review what you did. Also, you have the tools the make a decision about a deduction right there. Also, you can't beat the price of e-filing your Federal return - free.
What's great about it: the "back" feature
What's not so great: That this is all online

Over-all Turbo tax works well, but times when I want to revisit a form, I have problems getting there. Also a lot of redundant questions after revisiting a form. Still not happy with error on taxes several years ago. If I cannot use my nickname, I just lowered my rating.
What's great about it: Easy-does calculations for you and has forms
What's not so great: Not always easy to find form you are looking for.
