Easy but limiting

I've used Turbo Tax for over ten years so was happy that they have a Mac version that works on my new computer.
It seems that they've limited the rental property functionality this year so that you have to buy a more advanced special powers version of Turbo Tax. That was kind of annoying since I already knew that I wanted to take a Section 179 deduction, but it is only available in the other version.

What's great about it: Imported my info from last year

Easy Money

I have used TurboTax for several years now. I do my own taxes as well as friends and family. It is easy to use and it's fun when I realize I am getting a tax refund. I have been able to increase my refund by using TurboTax and finding deductions that I didn't know I could take. Thank you TurboTax. I look forward to seeing you next year!

Improved 'as you go' views

I like the comparison as you go. It helps to raise a flag if there is a big difference and lets you know if you made a data entry mistake. The difference may be justified but at least you are made aware.
What's great about it: TT shows last years values for comparison as you go.

What's great about it: very easy to use, especially likeautomatic entry of prior year's info
What's not so great: entry of minor investments somewhat cumbersome
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbocharged... again

I have used turbo tax confidently for several years. I recommend turbo tax to all who I talk to about taxes. I use Turbo Tax to do my taxes, my fiancé's, my son's, My father's, and my daughters taxes. I love the program
What's great about it: love your program
What's not so great: not found any yet

I appreciate the ease of use, however, when I want to select one thing to review or just print out part of my taxes, say just the state, it became more difficult.

Worth It!

I used a cheaper computer program last year and it was not easy to use. It took a lot longer to go through the sections and I just wasn't confident in my answers to questions. Very confusing to say the least. Turbo Tax is much more understandable and I finished in an hour. I will never try another product.
What's great about it: So easy to use and understand. I feel confident that everything is done correctly.

Turbo Tax Time

I have used Turbo Tax for several years now, and each year it gets faster and easier. I gather all my documents, and if I forgot any, Turbo Tax will remind me during the session. I'm a very busy person, so I can start working on it, stop, and start right back where I left off; even if it is the middle of the night! Turbo Tax always gives me the choice of leading me or letting me do it myself. I like how the Guide helps me with questions I have and the ones I didn't think of. This is a great program for all of the people who don't know a thing about taxes. Keep up the great work Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Quick, thorough, and easy
