Turbo Tax for tax year 2013

Found more errors, mostly minor ones, then almost all previous years put together. When entering home office deduction info software went into a never ending loop, asking the same 4 or 5 questions over and over again. Some screens displayed info as being from my data on the top but from my wife's data elsewhere on the page making things confusing. When trying to download W2 info automatically the format of the required ID number did not match as it was printed on the hardcopy W2. However when using the back key to try to re-enter the data in a different format thesoftware did not directly return to the correct screen making re-entry confusing at best.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Found several errors

Overall easy to use tool. I've used Turbo Tax for last 10-15 years and no problems.
What's great about it: ability to transfer information from previous year's return
What's not so great: Couldn't transfer charity information from previous year
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Return to TurboTax

I have used Turbo Tax for years as a single person but Turbo Tax couldn't handle the last three years when I was in a RDP relationship. Now that I can file as a married person, I'm back to using Turbo Tax and saving well over $1,000 in tax prep. fees. Turbo Tax is so easy to use - I love it!

What's great about it: Love the fact that you can easily stop and restart where you left off and edit over and over again!
What's not so great: In rare cases Turbo Tax asks for information that is not on my IRS forms.

A Value Added Service Program

Until we force our government to make our tax code simple and understandable, Turbo Tax is the way to go. Turbo Tax takes your simple or comp-lex information and converts it to a form that you can understand, and then into the mess our government wants and files the returns electronically.
A great value added to those of us who are not lawyers and accountants.
What's great about it: Makes Complex a Breeze!
What's not so great: Really pretty good all round.
