UNAPPROVED STATE FILING FORMS

MAKES NO SENSE FOR YOU TO SEND OUT UNAPPROVED FORMS AS PART OF MY MICHIGAN STATE RETURN AND CAUSE UNNECESSARY PROBLEMS FOR FILERS.

What Happened

I don't know what you did the past year but your product went down hill. I had nothing but trouble filling returns, both Fed and State. Your S/W gave no explanations in an easy format. I had to call CPA's to find out about the state's delays. But even Turbotax had issues with transmission. It just sat for over ten minutes with the spinning wheel of death. Really your product is as bad as it was in the beginning when your MAC part of TurboTax just kept crashing. At this point in my life I do not think I will continue with Turbotax in the future. The Fed and State offer FREE S/W and filing. I just saved almost $100.00.
What's great about it: Easy to fill in forms
What's not so great: NOTHING but trouble with the returns

i paid extra for deluxe edition and still had to pay for state e-file. Won't waste my money on it next year.

This years return was the most difficult ever. In years past it was very easy to use and to follow. This version made me question my purchase.
What's not so great: finally figured it out. Spent many hours to resolve issues. Had to review it twice to make sure all issues were found.

Turbo Tax is the best

What's great about it: It's outstanding. Makes taxes fun to file... no kidding

Schedule C defaults to minimum deduction. Also child deductions for filing separately gives you no credit.
