I think it gets better every year and that is pretty incredible seeing how the tax laws change constantly.

Didn't quite understand

When I received an additional amount (education refund), my actual federal and state refund to the left decreased with no explanation why. They said I got an additional refund but it went down? So now I question how actual Turbo tax really is.
What's great about it: Nice that the keep information handy from previous years
What's not so great: Not very good explanations

Excellent Tax Prep Software!

Been using TurboTax for years, and it has never let me down. It allows you to navigate the return on your own, or lead you by the hand through the steps. Very user friendly, with helpful advise, though if you drill down for extra help, the explanations are sometimes a little harder to comprehend.
Overall, great product and I will continue to use every year.

What's great about it: Watlks through every step in layman's terms
What's not so great: Detailed help is still somewhat CPA-ish in tone

So far, so good

Navigation could probably be improved but overall a great product.
What's great about it: In four years of using TurboTax the returns have been accepted without problems
What's not so great: Returning to a point in a partially completed return is awkward.

Done with taxes

I sometimes have to re-read the instructions and search Q&A to ensure I am doing the right thing, particularly with the AMT questions. I have used TurboTax for almost 10 years. It is certainly easier than doing this manually. So far I've done well (no audits :-) and I will continue to purchase this product each year.
What's great about it: I do like that my information is carried over.
What's not so great: the AMT questions are a bit confusing. I want TurboTax to tell me for certain what I should do.
