Made Filing Taxes fun..almost

I have used Turbo tax for the last few years and would not change to any other software. The questions are in every day language and descriptions are understandable to people who are not in the tax or financial fields. I like the fact that it checks your returns and gives you a rating for a potential audit. With all the scary news about the IRS latly, it's nice to see that "low" rating for the probability of an audit. The colors are nice and the software easy to use. I would say it was fun, except for the tax part. The programmers and creators of this software are amazing. Keep up the good work. I am a fan for life.
What's great about it: Very simple questions - everyday language
What's not so great: Can't think of any

Quick and easy and accurate!

The turbo tax software was great, but there's a fee for everything, it seems!! Fee to download. Fee after 1 state file AND fee for e-filing. what is this?
What's great about it: Fast and accurate tax return
What's not so great: Too many fees!!!!

My husband and I managed to complete our return in about 6 hours even though we sold a condo and bought a house this year.
What's great about it: it does the full return even if it is complex
What's not so great: sometimes it is hard to deside where to enter specific information

Federal Taxes

Turbo Tax has been helpful in recent years. This is the only year I encountered problems. 1-the IRS sales tax info wasn't available to use the sales tax deduction. 2- Turbo Tax did not give me the info I need to send my tax payment in.
What's great about it: Covered all the bases but one.
What's not so great: Did not have the IRS sales tax info.

This is the first time I do an Income Tax return and this was so easy to follow I'm impressed with this. I just don't know if I can use this program for my self and my kids or is it just to used for 1 return.

I will be discontinuing auto renewal of the program. Can get the same product $30 cheaper at big box stores....what savings for loyalty to brand? Have been a TT user for years.
What's great about it: easy completion
What's not so great: hitches in program required restart from previous pages; some too long to load

Excellent Alternative

This is an excellent "alternative" way to file taxes. Traditional systems are out-of-date and unreliable. This system brings tax-filing to the modern era.
What's great about it: Accurate and Time Flexible
What's not so great: None
