Easy to work with!

Federal is good, Virginia state is terrible

For VA, TurboTax appears to have added the "ability" to file showing annualized income and estimated taxes paid to avoid an underpayement penalty. In reality the software arbitrarily assigns income to the husband except for Social Security. The itemized deductions are split based on some calculation that never processes any changes to the worksheet.
The payment dates from the Federal estimated state tax worksheet are never updated after they are corrected and the state tax process redone.
What's not so great: VA State process is incomprehensible, Federal misses the IRA total value being blank (zero) on error check

The best part was they found something I computed wrong for years and I got back refunds for previous years.

TurboTax should ask if a parent has claimed and used the tuition tax credit 1098t form.

I'm an Old Fan of Turbo Tax, so I wouldn't trade it for any of these new comers in the tax world. It is easy to use, the importing features from last year and from the 99 forms is great.
I like the guided tour, it is to easy for you to miss something when you aren't guided through.
The e-file is painless.
I like the auto renewal, when they send you the CD each year.
Turbo Tax is GREAT!!!
What's great about it: the double checking on things
What's not so great: can't find one?
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used several different types of TurboTax software, and all of them have been easy to use and very thorough. I would recommend this software to everyone.
What's great about it: Very intuitive
What's not so great: need more explainations that are in laymans terms

I've used turbo tax for years, and never had an issue This year when it came time to print my forms for a mail in, it would not let me, but insisted I do an e-file. It was very frustrating, to say the least.
What's great about it: turbo tax is easy input and thorough
What's not so great: printing my return was DIFFICULT
