Excellent tool

Our CPA passed away this last year and so I decided to use Turbo Tax. It was pretty easy and just a little more time consuming than I expected. One nice thing is that I can stop, save my return, go get the information needed and then come right back and finish. Going to a preparer would have meant going home and then calling with the info or bringing it back in to finish.
What's great about it: helped me find energy credit I didn't know I had coming
What's not so great: a bit time-consuming to walk through all the steps

Taxes Made easier

I am a retired federal worker and receive a CSRS retirement. Part of this retiremnet is tax exempt for tax purposes. The process for entering your my retirement amounts seems to be confused as if it were an IRA. Maybe this process could be split out. since my pension has nothing to do with an IRA distribution, or perhaps it was just me being confused. I hope the comment was helpful.
What's great about it: Easy walkthough approach
What's not so great: printing at the end of the process is a little confusing

This year, there seemed to be to many ads. For example, trying to get me to buy the Premier version of the program. This happened more than once in my two-day period of doing my taxes. It's just annoying. It seems like there were other ads, but I cannot remember them now.
What's great about it: Ability to do my taxes acurately and fast

2013 TurboTax

Great experience as always. I have used TurboTaqx for 10 years and it is great to have all the forms filled correctly and file electronically. I always feel that I have covered everything complete,ly. I have been audited 3 times and I have not had my returns changed as a result of the audits. My taxes are done correctly and completely. I am confident I have covered all aspects of my return when TurboTax say I am ready to file.
What's great about it: Great experience as always. I have used TurboTaqx for 10 years and it is great to have all the forms filled in correctl

Amazed about how easy turbotax is!

I never thought I would be able to file my own taxes. I found turbo tax very easy to use, even if English is not my primary language. I didn't experience any problem and I'm happy that didn't pay someone else to complete my tax return and that I decided to do it by myself.

Great tax program!

Other than the con above, the program was easy to follow and completion of the tax return was possible within a couple of hours.
What's great about it: easy to follow guide to completing the tax return
What's not so great: when applying refund to next year, comment said unusual outcome
