Turbo Tax

Have used turbo tax since the early years in 2000 and have never thought about switching. Walk through is easy and now obtaining W2 and bank info is also lightning quick. Still have to dig deep to get a detailed answer.
At some point adding the cost of a state e-file to the software package should be considered. Or, offer it for free.

Business section needs improvement for Business travel on behalf of procuring supplies for business operations.
Difficult to revisit Estimated Tax Worksheets for Fed. & State.
What's great about it: Step by Step
What's not so great: Difficult to print copy of Return for mailing--required an email filing identifier before could proceed to mailing.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

We always use TurboTax. It's easy and relatively fast. We recommend it to friends all the time.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Easy to understand. Free federal efile.
What's not so great: The price seems to be going up every year.

I'm a caveman, and TurboTax is so simple it rocks!

I've used TurboTax Deluxe edition for six years, and I'll buy the 2014 edition next year. The simple progression of questions is a snap --- even if you have minimal understanding of itemization or tax credits.
Do don't even have to look at those dizzying forms, merely answer questions and provide numbers from your W-2 and other documents.
Have math-phobia? No problem: TurboTax automatically enters your numbers in the correct boxes on forms and does all the calculations.
For the first time this year, Turbo tax walked me through an education credit with which I was totally unfamiliar. It was simple to recoup some of what I spent on my daughter's college tuition -- it added $2,500 to my refund.
I highly recommend TurboTax. UInless I had very complex tax issues, I wouldn't waste money on an accountant.
