Confidence with Turbo Tax

I feel confident when using Turbo Tax because it takes me through the process step-by-step. I'm no tax expert so the guidance gives me peace of mind. Turbo also checks for missed deductions and reports errors or lack of them, which is always a reason to let out a sigh of relief. It takes me less time from year to year because the necessary information has been stored and I know what items will be requested. It also lets me know what the risk of being audited is. I'm proud to report that ours is LOW!!! Turbo Tax shows me the money.
What's great about it: Step by step instructions, checks for missed deductions, error assessment
What's not so great: Paying the State file fee

Turbo Tax experience

It was a nightmare to get updates and the state tax program to upload on computer. So we tried my daughters computer and after she added the program she got a virus on her computer. Not sure what the deal was. This has never happened before.
Once we got beyond the problems it worked fine.
What's great about it: It talks me thru the tax process so I don't miss anything
What's not so great: This year, it was a hastle to update and get state program on Computer

Should have LIVE HELP, not on line questions and answers, The disc didn't load, was about to give up when I unplugged the cable connect and plugged back in the the DISC TOOK OFF!
What's great about it: it is easy
What's not so great: problem loading the disk, Took 5 times.

I've been a TurboTax user since 1990. Great software. Gets better every year.
What's great about it: Great to be able to download stocks trading info!
What's not so great: Really don't need 1040ES vouchers. Waste of paper.

TT2013 review

I've used TT for many years - this year's version was a little more difficult to use. When using the step by step input it always started from the beginning whenever I reopened the product. The import/download from my financial companies did not work correctly so I had to select input the data myself. I always worked in past years??
I would still recommend the product as it does save a lot of time - especially loading data from previous year.
