Easy to Use

Turbo Tax is so simple to use. It walks you through all possible deductions, with help and assistance tools if needed. I would highly recommend Turbo Tax to anyone. I have been using it for the past 6 years and am always pleased and surprised with the amount of my refund.
What's great about it: Walks you though the process step by step
What's not so great: to me I have no cons

I will be using Turbo Tax again and again as long is out there for the rest of my life. :) I love turbo tax. Actually I help/introduce turbo tax to my friend. Her first time doing turbo tax.
What's great about it: easy guide instructions on everything
What's not so great: no number of customer support that i see

So Easy

We've been using TurboTax for the past 7 years and it seems to be getting easier to use each tax season. I actually don't mind doing our taxes because I know it won't take that long. It allows you to itemize your deductions, is reviewed for errors, and isn't expensive.

love the step by step questions

Because of the fact that you can't print returns directly from the software....I'm evaluating other software packages for that option.
Can't understand why it has to be saved as an adobe file & not able to print while I'm in the software still finishing my return!!!!!!
What's great about it: easy to follow
What's not so great: can't print right from the "print return" screen directly from the software. Have to save it in an adobe reader file>

Delivers - year after year!

If you understand how to navigate a simple software product, Turbotax is for you. As an example, if you're older and starting to struggle with switching view and navigating around this might not be for you.
I love the interview ask questions way of getting the majority of your tax returned completed. Then you can go category by category to ensure you are inputting everything that you should.
Course the power of electronic filing is key. I don't even remember the last time I filed a paper return, thanks TT Team.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and ability to file electronically is awesome!
What's not so great: None at this time
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Karen came to the rescue

After struggling for a number of days to rectify the error I contacted the help center and Karen was extremely patient to understand the challenge and then lead me through the corrective actions. She was a jewel and saved the day. What joy. Thanks for the help and the professional way she helped a non accountant through the correction.
What's great about it: I've use turbo tax for the last eight years and found it very user friendly.
What's not so great: I had a challenge this year with an over stated state tax amount I could not correct

Dump the "Tax Man"

Why go to a complete stranger and handover all your personal information for tax purposes. Do your taxes while you are still in your sleeping clothes. No appointment needed, no waiting in line, no lectures. Do them as you wish and you can stop, save, come back the next day or week and continue where you left off. It's just too easy and convenient. And before I forget, you always have a copy of your returns in your computer, so print them when ever they are needed and stop saving those piles of old tax returns for fear of being audited.
What's great about it: Easy to work with. Do your taxes anytime, anywhere you choose.
What's not so great: Too easy (lol)
