Wow! So Easy

This was my first time completing my taxes on my own. After answering the questions my return was generated and I feel confident that all entries are accurate. The e-file option was a breeze as well. Definitely recommend this product!
What's great about it: The program asked detailed - and EASY - questions enabling a fast and accurate return.

MAC Refund

Very disappointed with TurboTax this year. It was extremely difficult to transmit the return using MAC as the program had to be uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times using two different computers in order to eliminate errors. Initially, the update wouldn't extract, so I followed the help advice and installed a different browser, after uninstalling and reinstalling. This was unsuccessful. Used a different MAC and emailed my completed return to myself. Had to install, uninstall, reinstall on the new computer. It finally worked! We use Turbo Tax because it's typically easy (after completing our returns for at least the last 7 years) but after spending a couple of hours completing my return and 3-4 hours over the following two days to problem solve the issues, I will most likely be looking for a different method next year.
What's great about it: Once it worked, it was easy
What's not so great: Updates wouldn't extract, had to uninstall and reinstall multiple times and use two different computers
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Complete Review Process

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years, and I can't think of any reason why I would want to stop. It is a very methodical but easy process. I highly recommend it!
What's great about it: I like the fact that TurboTax takes you through every area of preparation in a simple and understandable fashion.
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

TURBO TAX MAKES IT EASY

I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 8 years and what I like best is that I am confident that my return is accurate and complete even when it is so easy to do. I itemize my deductions and I could use Turbo tax without the automated step-by-step walk-through but the walk-through is so quick and easy, I still use it just to make sure that I don't miss anything. Also, the e-filing is great. I usually get a small refund and the refund goes into my checking account very soon after I e-file and I have some extra spending money that comes in handy during the springtime. Also, I don't have to worry about my return getting lost in the mail.
What's great about it: What I like best is that I am confident that my return is accurate and complete even when it is so easy to do.
What's not so great: I cannot think of anything that I don't like about Turbo Tax.
