Good way to do not fun job

I have used TurboTax for several years now and have been happy with the results. It is easy for the average person to use, can interrupt whenever you need and is easy to go back to. Comforting to know that the calculations are double checked.
What's great about it: Thorough sections - tells you what documentation you need if audited.
What's not so great: Sometimes gets a little long if you don't have a lot of extras to report.

I really like the Turbo Tax software's ease of use.
What's great about it: Great program; stepped me through the entire process
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Frustrating e-filing experience

Am not pleased to have the frustrations as I tried to e-file. No updates were available as the "helpful" note suggested! Why should I have to restart my iMac in order for Turbo Tax to be able to e-file!

What's great about it: easy calculations
What's not so great: e-filing failed, looked up answers in help, found that this is a Mac problem.

Love Turbo Tax!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and they never disappoint. Trying to read all the forms and know how to fill them out before I used Turbo Tax was just a nightmare. Now I can rest assured that Turbo Tax is filling them out correctly as it walks me through each one.
What's great about it: walks me right through all that I need

Excellent, but not foolproof

Loved the detail in Deluxe. Sufficient to cover sale of a home, moving expenses, tuition deductions and other nonstandard items. Great job with itsDeductible, covering all donated items and saving me money in the process.
Assumed filenames that were wrong when saving return. Implied the need for full addresses for charitable contributions, but did not seem to require full details in cases when I did not have them.
What's great about it: Great detail in Deluxe
What's not so great: Missed when user had to go back

It didn't ask for a update till I was all done, then to get any updates I had to get out of turbo tax and start all over then it would take the three up dates.
What's great about it: easy to do
What's not so great: would not do a update till I shout everything off and start all over
