Turbo Tax = simple, quick, efficient

Just make sure you aren't cheating or lying, Turbo Tax does the rest.
What's great about it: It's so easy, it error checks.

Best system for refund

I've used TurboTax for many years now, I never had any issues with the program or with my refunds. Always and will continue to recommend it to family and friends.
What's great about it: Love how detailed and helpful it is.
What's not so great: None I can think of.

Got all the way through and couldn't e-file

I made it all the way through this easy to use program and at the end it wouldn't let me efile. It said there were updates to the program that I needed to download, when I went to the "check for updates" feature it said there were none. So now I have to mail this end....not at all happy.
What's great about it: very easy to use
What's not so great: didn't let me efile

Pretty good. Had a couple mistakes.

Housing allowance was added twice since it was accounted for on the W2 and on the Schedule C. I had to leave it off the schedule C so it would not be double added. Of course when it double-added, my tax amount went way up. If I hadn't caught it I would have paid a lot more than I would have needed to. Also, when I went to efile, I filled out all the info, pressed the button and it said it needed to do an update. After doing the update it restarted Turbo-tax and I had to go through the efile process again. It seems like it should have done the updates before even starting the efile process. Overall I worked pretty well.
What's great about it: Pretty easy to use.
What's not so great: Made a couple mistakes that I had to correct.

I have uses this program for 5 years now, and each time it gets easier and easier, and takes the fear out of doing yearly taxes

2013 DONE !!

I,ve used Turbo Tax for the past ten years and it is the easiest and most economical way for me to file. I have a fairly "straight-forward' tax return so it makes sense that Turbo Tax is the quickest and easiest way for me to file.
What's great about it: As usual, very easy to follow
What's not so great: None
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Turbo Tax seemed to flow more easily this tax year

The 2013 Deluxe Turbo Tax seemed to run much more smoothly this tax year. I really like the links you can use to get further information or clarification of a tax topic. This year I used Turbo Tax for filing three returns and each one went very smoothly.
There are two things I would like to suggest:
1. Please have me enter the addresses of my new charities at the same time that I am entering my donation. I had already filed the paperwork away and had to retrieve it again to put in the addresses when prompted. This, of course, is not the end-of-the world issue, just a little inconvenient.
2. I wanted to file my federal return electronically and my state by mail, but I can't figure out how to do that. Because I am using a portion of my federal return to pay my state tax liability, now I am going to have to remember to go back and file my state taxes later and I would just like to have my state tax return printed out, envelope ready, and write the check when I get my federal refund. Now I'll have to remember to log back into Turbo Tax to file my state return electronically later.

What's great about it: Does all the computations, carries over data needed for current tax year from previous tax years
What's not so great: I didn't like having to add the addresses of my new charities after the fact, please do it at same time.

EASY AND COMPLETE

I've used Turbo Tax for the past 15+ years. I feel confident that the forms were complete. I've had to generate amendments twice, which were also easy to do.
What's great about it: WALKS YOU THROUGH ALL AREAS OF TAX FILING
