Easy Refund

I find the software easy to use, but worry about my risk of audit and wasn't able to find some of the direct answers I wanted about deductions, etc.

There should be some notice at the beginning that highlights any tax changes that could benefit each tax filing status.
I love how straightforward TurboTax is.

Great until the very end...

I have used TurboTax for over 10 years and I have loved most aspects of it. It is easy to use and asks most of the right questions. I do love the software and keep coming back to it.
What I would like to see is better tracking of previous years deductions. In 2012 I had a Long Term Care contract, this year it made no reference to it nor did it ask any questions about it. I had to look up how to enter the information this year as last year it was very simple.
The other problem I saw was that after two error checks it did not find a problem I had on my MN long term care form until after my credit card information was entered and it was just about to e-file. What happened here?
Overall I love TurboTax and I will continue to use it.
What's great about it: Keeps most year to year information handy
What's not so great: forgets to include certain items from previous years

Used TurboTax for many years. Always happy with the results. It makes an unpleasant task quickly finished and bearable.
What's great about it: Annual requirement made almost painless. Good, progressive lead through of the process

Love My TurboTax!

This is the third year since I started using TurboTax again; I had used it way back in the "DOS" years and it was great even then. I stopped using it due to many different elements of owning my own business - an accountant was the only way to go. Now that I'm retired with just investments to worry about, TurboTax works out great for me. The first year was time consuming due to having to find out how to enter in stock loss carry-overs but since then it's been a breeze; TurboTax brings the tax items over for me and carries forward as needed. Love my TurboTax!
What's great about it: imports data from previous years & walks me through each section
What's not so great: Haven't found any

mailing problem- again

Warning! If you are a Michigan resident and filing for Home Heating or Property Tax credits.Turbo Tax does not make it clear that on the line for your SS,SSI,etc.: you must include income for everyone in your household, not just spouses. Go to the MI website for better directions.
What's great about it: Fairly easy to use. Like the transfer from previous year.
What's not so great: Difficulty with file to mail and MI credits.

Import of W2's

A simple federal return for my niece, I clicked on import w2's and it made me enter all 3 of them. Yet when I did mine first I could easily import all my documents.
What's great about it: importing, knowledge of tax laws
What's not so great: Could not import my nieces W2, she had 3 of would not let me
