Easy and Efficient!

This is my third year of using TurboTax. It asks all the right questions, doesn't forget anything, is always current with the tax laws, is fast and easy.
What's great about it: Great outline asking all the right questions.

Won't E-File!!!

Very dissatisfied! When I hit the submit button for e-file, program said I had to check for update. I did that but no update available. Tried again and it said a return with my SSN was already filed. Waited several days but no email confirmation of filing. Had to mail my return:( Feel cheated with no free federal e-file as promised.
What's great about it: None
What's not so great: Return would not e-file.

The Best

I have used Turbo Tax for years at this point. Even though I worked in accounting and used to do my taxes by hand myself I feel much more secure with Turbo Tax since it carefully covers everything. Also, the updates keep up with current laws. I love the way it picks up the information from my previous years and populates basic information. Also love the comparison with previous year. (In accounting I always checked my work with previous years!) I had a friend whose accountant failed to include her Social Security on return - would not happen with Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: covered every subject thoroughly

Some problems with downloads and E-File.

Problems downloading an update. It never complete despite 4 attempts.
Problems with E-File
When i attempted to E-File I could not due to outstanding download. Backed up and attempted to print copies to mail. Software still thought I was attempting to E-File and did not print copies to mail. Exited software without saving and tried again. Same results. I finally saved a PDF preview copy of my returns and printed those documents so I could file my return.
What's great about it: Covers every possible situation
What's not so great: Issues with update download & E-File. Don't need every poss. sit. Add short cuts to bypass in the Guide me Thru. option

Should be a way to erase all my past passwords or logins.
What's great about it: I like that it gets easier to use every year.
