Been using Turbo Tax for years!

The first 2 years that I used Turbo Tax (and this was several years ago), I would do my taxes by hand using forms, then use Turbo Tax to see if Turbo Tax made any mistakes. The numbers always jived. The third year, when I did the compare, I had made a mistake but Turbo Tax was correct. I have not done my taxes be hand since. I always trust Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: Qucik and easy.
What's not so great: Nothing

Priceless yet easy to use

I have used Turbo Tax since 1995 and would never use any other software program. However, when I have a question, the information never seems to help. I have to Google it myself. This is especially true of the state form.
What's great about it: Imports last year's information
What's not so great: links to tax information sorely lacking
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great, Even If You're Resentful

I resent paying taxes, only to see the funds flushed. But since it is necessary to comply,
TurboTax certainly reduces the difficulties to a minimum.

Good Application - I will continue using

If you have simple returns, Turbo Tax is easy to use. The software walks you through each section and it is easy to ID what needs to be plugged in. The help section is OK to find an area you are looking for more information on. A great feature I used this year was to switch back and forth between the step-by-step screens and the forms view. The software aligns and you do not have to start a section over! This was great to delete forms that were inadvertently begun and not needed (once I used Help to figure out how to fix my problem) :-). I think the explain boxes are a little wordy and use a lot of IRS and legal jargon that make them hard to understand.

Another Quick and EZ Tax Filing

Started tax return around 11:00 AM on a Saturday. Everything was completed and filed electronically by 3:00 PM.
I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I organize my tax information throughout the year so that I am ready to use Turbo Tax.
What a time saver!
What's great about it: Step by step approach to entering information
What's not so great: Turbo Tax thought I needed to file a non-resident tax return in the state where I work
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
