Turbo Tax Makes it Easier!

I've been using Turbo Tax for a number of years now & it takes the guess work out of computing my taxes. The anxiety & apprehension that usually accompanies the thought of preparing my tax return is now non-existent as Turbo Tax makes it easy to understand. With help from their experts, I have found deductions that I never thought of.

Easy Easy

The only thing that I don't like is having to go through sections that don't apply. I would think that someone could come up with a system that Turbo Tax knows what sections you need to complete.... This is especially true for the State Section.
What's great about it: AWESOME, easy to use
What's not so great: Not many cons at all
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Get updates first

Mostly good. However, in the past, after I downloaded the program it automatically checked for updates. This time it didn't, nor did it indicate that updates were available. I therefore assumed that all was current and proceeded. Then late in the process I'm told that things will be delayed due to unavailable IRS forms. Since the accompanying note said you expected them 7 weeks ago, I then checked for updates and several were downloaded. However, when getting back on track after the "midstream" interruption, I encountered instructions that were not very clear. Were "revisited" forms actually complete or not? In reporting tax-free interest, a state code was asked for, but multiple states were involved. Your instructions said "see help", but the help options offered nothing useful.
What's great about it: Covers many options that are easily missed
What's not so great: Skip the childish superlative introductions (Great news . . .!!!, etc)

Made doing taxes easy

I think you should make a cut off after the questions that show
a short form will be done. So you don't have to go through everything

My only complaint is that I have been unable to find a way to remove prior years software so that I can keep the return, but not on my primary hard drive. I don't want to "Uninstall" because I'll loose the data.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate and very thorough

2013 TTax review

TurboTax as always is an awesome product. I have used it for many years without issues. This is the 2nd year of using TurboTax on a Mac. It works flawlessly!!!!
I love it and recommend it to all.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Easy to install and update.
What's not so great: none

Tax Relief

Not that tax return time is ever easy but this software makes the whole process easier to swallow. Unlike your tax dollars you actually get a lot for your money!
What's great about it: Fast, Accurate, Great Explainations
What's not so great: Can't import both previous tax returns when filing jointly
