good tax software

What's great about it: ease of use, helpful hints
What's not so great: of any, would be tax laws are more complicated
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great software

I have used Turbotax for 5 years. It makes my life much easier. But my computer was broken last year and lost my 2012 tax file on the hard drive. When I started 2013 tax return, I couldn't retrieve the 2012 tax return and had to start over with all detailed family information. It would be easier if we can retrieve previous tax return files by searching SSN. But overall, it is great!
What's great about it: easy guide with simple questions
What's not so great: couldn't transfer previous tax information by SSN

Short Easy Accurate Sweet

Easy to use and not a problem. Only issue was with the print in the end which when previewing apparently Word doesn't want to recognize it. Save as a pdf and print from there.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate
What's not so great: Print kept wanting to open in Word.

Easy Peasy Once Again!

My husband & I have used TurboTax for many years and have always been more than satisfied with the affordability of the product and the ease of use. Have recommended it to friends and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Love, love, love the guided "tour" through all the sections. Makes doing your taxes almost fun!

Simple Yet Elegant!

I have been using Turbo Tax for years, without any glitches in my OS or type of PC. The user friendly interface is great, even for a novice PC user.
Updates when available are easily downloaded and the program restarts without having to reboot the computer.
I really appreciate the auto fill from year to year and the It's Deductible feature to calculate the value of donations.
The cost for the program and State filing are deductible too!
Goldilocks would have chosen this one!

Great Product

This is a great product. Very easy and efficient. Cheaper than going to a local tax store, and faster. I've used TT for over 10 years and have never had the IRS come back with an error. The only thing I'd like to recommend is that the forms be viewed on one page in their entirety without having to scroll down each page.

I like how easy information transfers from year to year. Quick and easy to complete. Plain understandable language.
What's great about it: The ease of transfer of info.
