Loved the program. I don't understand why the cost is cheaper for the software in stores than online.

The tax prep went quickly, less than an hour, and that's using the long form. Install and updates took longer than the actual prep time.
What's great about it: Very easy to use, very quick too.
What's not so great: Print out didn't turn out, could be my settings

In spite of what has to be the most convulated, confusing and complicated tax code in the universe, Turbo Tax has again delivered an application that enables a non accountant to prepare and file their Income tax efficienly, painlessly, and thoroughly. By simply following the on screen directions and prompts, asking questions on the screen in the few situations where something might not be crystal clear, a novice or experienced tax "filier" can manage this annual unpleasantness with ease. I have used Turbo Tax since 1993 and cannot recommend it highly enough. Again, thank you Turbo Tax/Intuit for delivering a product that exceeds expectations!
What's great about it: extremely intuitative - I have used TT for years, and this year was the best yet
What's not so great: Not a one that I can think of

Foreign Dividend Income

Unlike H&R Block, Turbotax did provide the necessary forms to handle my foreign dividend income. However, the guidance was terrible and it took me ages to figure out how to input everything correctly. While I appreciate foreign dividend income is not common for most filers, it would be great if Turbotax could review their process for this and make it as user friendly as the rest of the system.

I have used Turbo Tax for the previous 4 or 5 years and it makes filing taxes easy and straightforward. I really like the fact that all areas are covered and am left with the feeling that the return is most complete in every aspect of tax filing. The organized approach not only simplifies the tax filing process, but also makes it possible to file Federal and State tax returns as fast as possible.
What's great about it: Peace of mind, ease of filing, organized, accurate
What's not so great: gee, I cannot think of one
