Years of Great Filing!

I've been filing for several years. I had a tax preparer look over my Turbo Tax documents for an amended return. He said everything was thorough and accurate. It made me feel good to know that Turbo Tax is as reliable as if I had an accountant prepare them. It is so easy to walk through!!

Easy to do

I finished my taxes in less than 2 hours with this. User friendly, and I do love the auto fill function from last year's taxes. Great product.
What's great about it: step by step easy to understand instructions
What's not so great: State return had fewer explainations

Thank goodness for Turbo Tax

I just love Turbo Tax, I use this every year and have recommended to so many friends and family. Very simple to follow and understand. I love the multiple error checks and the audit risk checker. I use this program every year with total peace of mind. Very pleased with this program.
What's great about it: I love the simplicity and ease of this program
What's not so great: We should not have to pay to efile state!

Using turbo tax

Overall this is a stable and very good program. Easy to use. It covers deductions you didn't even know you might qualify for. I have used this program since 2007 and have not been disappointed. Try it you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Asks you all the needed questions to get the most out of your return
What's not so great: its not free

2013 tax filing

really like the product, 2nd year using this; unlike last year had a validation issue when e-filing the first few times; kept getting a message about the need to update software, but after doing so still had the validation issue and would check for updates and none were available; e-filing worked the next day after shutting down and restarting macbook.
What's great about it: quick and easy input of data

Handy tax program

Overall, I can't complain about TurboTax yet. I file 1040 as married filing jointly, and it takes only about an hour or so (not including hunting for some additional piece of information) to do taxes. I cannot imagine doing it by hand. Thus far, I have had no problems with anything I have filed either. There are little quirks here and there that are challenging to figure out, particularly as one has to go into the state forms themselves to fix something. I partially brought it on myself by not putting the complete information in from the get go. I trust that if and when my taxes get more challenging than two small businesses and the normal deductions for a homeowning family, TurboTax will be able to handle it.
What's great about it: Easy to use, manages important data and forms for those of us who don't know anything about taxes
What's not so great: Sometimes specific error check fixes are a challenge
