Easy Peasy

Filled in info from mycollege son's 1099-T, TurboTax did all the rest. It is particularly good for doing those parts which require a "worksheet", then enter the result in a line on the Form 1040.
What's great about it: Easy and Thorough

I love using Turbo Tax, but this year I found the wording in the program less user friendly. It felt more cumbersome to use with me having to guess and then go back if I found it wasn't what I thought it would be.
What's not so great: not as user friendly as previous years. language was a bit more confusing

I've been relying on Turbotax for years.

We used to have our taxes professionally prepared, but after a preparer's error, we switched to Turbotax. The move has saved a lot of time and money. I can do my taxes at my leisure, and immediately file them online.
What's great about it: Checks and double checks, presents you with all the options one at a time.
What's not so great: Can be a bit lengthy

Turbo Tax is very easy to use. Lots of help windows and the "help" windows are easy to understand. (very user friendly) Love the way Turbo Tax transfers last years information to the current year return-saves a lot of key strokes.
What's great about it: Transferred data into current year
What's not so great: Cost
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax works well even in my ancient computer. I have been using it for many years now. would not even consider using anything else.
Sometimes I fimd myself wondering if all the updates are really needed but they would know better than me so no complaints.
What's great about it: Excellance in all areas

Great first experience with TurboTax

We called a couple of times with some questions. The staff was extremely patient, knowledgeable, and most helpful. She even help us out with last year taxes, and we didn't even use turbo tax.. That speaks for itself.
What's great about it: Super easy
What's not so great: Did not realized I had to pay to file the sate tax.. my bad..
