easy, as always...step by step. you can't mess it up. speed was good - didn't take long to check and make updates. great content, so i could read the detail of an item, if i wasn't familiar w/ it.

Painless

Everything is always really good. I would like to see one improvement. First, since this file has all pertinent info I would like to be able to ask what figures should be from the feds or state gov. For example, I always have trouble with my 1099G state and local tax form. Sometimes I do not receive it in time so I would like to be able to use turbotax and have it help me acces the state/fed site and get my dollar amount that is on the 1099G. Should not be too hard as long as you have access/permission to do so.
What's great about it: Importing info
What's not so great: Should be more interactive with Fed website

Every thing was ok except fot the State

Why did the program not remove the water marks so I can file by mail the state?
What's great about it: It did all calculations
What's not so great: Did not take the water marks from state. Could not print for filing.

Bug In The Software

There is a bug in the Turbo Tax software. It keeps telling me that I can't file a join federal returnif I'm in a Domestic Partnership. The thing is, I already entered that I'm married person filing joinlty with my spouse so I don't understand why it keeps saying that I'm still in a Domestic Partnership. I even had to re-enter my Personal Profile to make sure that I entered my status as "married". Because of this, it didn't allow me to file electronically so I had to do it by mail. There was no option to ignore the error #that I was in a Domestic Partnership# so I can proceed with electronic filing anyway. Very disappointing.
What's great about it: Easy To Usemand Convenient
What's not so great: Not Flexible to File Electronically

What's great about it: Big help through the education expenses as we sent our daughter off to college last year
