Tax filing the easy way

Addicted to Turbo Tax

I've been using Turbo Tax for more than a decade. I no longer dread tax time. The step by step approach allows me to start and stop at my leisure, which aids in refining my documentation. I realize that as the tax code gets more complex and far-reaching, Turbo Tax must keep up. But I kind of regret that so much has to be covered that is not pertinent to my situation. However, that is a small price for the confidence gained that I haven't overlooked something significant.
What's great about it: Step by step approach is appealing. I don't have to keep up on changes in tax law
What's not so great: It's getting more complex each year. But that is not the fault of Turbotax.

only tax software I'll ever use

I've been using this software for as long as I can remember very well designed year after year. Simple to use.
What's great about it: Very intuitive and easy to use
What's not so great: a bit expensive but you can do several returns
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Great experience with TurboTax

Overall, this is a great way to prepare one's personal income taxes. The program is orderly and asks for specific data--no guessing on my part. I think even a more complicated return would be simple to prepare. I will use this program again next year if we can afford it.
What's great about it: straight forward
What's not so great: not easy to get answers to specific questions

Great Product

My wife and I bought the program to file our taxes for the first time by ourselves. It was extremely easy to use. The program walks you through each step of the process and provides helpful information if you aren't sure about what it is asking. It made doing our taxes for the first time incredibly easy. I also liked the fact that the program checked to make sure we had no errors or omissions that would cost us later down the road. The only down side was that we moved and had to file two state returns and we were charged for downloading a second state tax form and it cost money to e-file our state returns.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Walks you through every step
What's not so great: Paying extra for having to file two state returns
