Can rest assured...

Turbotax imports all necessary data from previous years on my computer and once I complete all my input from the current year and efile it, I know I will never have a tax filing worry. I have also used it on my mother's estate with the same perfect results. I especially appreciate how you are given ample opportunity to double check every item and make changes at any time if you entered anything incorrectly. Worth every dime and I will continue to use it!
What's great about it: Used for 7 years and NEVER had the slightest glitch. I always rest assured that I will receive the best refund possible.
What's not so great: Absolutely no cons ever.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

MI state form still incorrect

The MI state return has been incorrect for last two years with no corrections. I had to file my state return by mail.
What's great about it: Easy Federal filing
What's not so great: MI state form is incorrect for those born prior to Jan 01, 1946

Easy

I love TurboTax - it's a billion times better than going somewhere to get taxes done - much easier, quicker, less expensive, and I know that I'm not being scammed by someone who doesn't care as much about my refund or payments as I do.
What's great about it: Very easy and straightforward. No Guesswork.
What's not so great: Having to buy another one and install it every year

turbotax usfullness

In general a very good product.
I have used TurboTax for many years and have been very satisfied.
I know an individual that worked for the IRS and his statement was that they seldom found a problem with returns generated using TurboTax . Actually the most problem free soft ware they have seen. Just to set the record straight the IRS does not endorse or promote any tax preparation soft ware

What's great about it: quick, easy, and accurate
What's not so great: sometimes unstable and jumps/skips catagories

Quick and Easy

I would recommend this to anyone. This is the second year I have used it and I will never go back.

didn't print Sched A Fed

Program selected standard deduction for Fed but itemized for State (AZ). But program didn't print out or even offer option of reviewing Fed sched A, which is required to be attached by AZ.

Minor Problems

I was always trying to skip around because I had to change a few small items. The state programs made me go back to the complete entry and I couldn't correct items easily from the forms.
What's great about it: Easy to Understand
What's not so great: Difficult to Navagate
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Less Than Satisfied

I have used turbo tax for years but was not very satisfied with it this year. I used Deluxe but had one form, a 1099-S to enter that it wanted me to upgrade to the more expensive program which I did not do. But when trying to find out where to enter my 1099 -S, I just had to guess where to enter the info because nowhere did it list an entry for that particular 1099 in the deluxe program. I do not own a business, all I wanted to do was enter what I made from selling some trees from my property. Also it was very hard to figure out how to print out my tax forms. Turbo tax also did not seem to handle variables on my daughter's such as foster children without much confusion on how to correctly enter information. I'm seriously considering not using turbo tax next year.
What's great about it: Guide you through topics very helpful
What's not so great: harder to use this year, not good with exceptions, hard to figure out how to print off forms
