It was alright,but I couldn't print my return because you use PDF and I don't have that program and I don't know how to use it anyway. Other wise it was good.

Easy to use

Have used TurboTax for last several years and for the most part have been well pleased with the experience. Much easier than doing taxes the old fashioned way with pencil and paper.
What's great about it: Easy step by step walkthrough of process
What's not so great: Fee to file state return

Turbo Tax is great, although I'd wish for more ability to directly edit the forms when I'm making changes. I'd also wish for less of the folksy dialogue, e.g. "Congratulations! You can deduct your business expenses!" yes, i know that. What I need is accurate and easy calculations, which is what TT gives me too.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Easy Steps - but problems with Filing

As in past years, TurboTax was easy to use throughout most of the process.
The Glitch came when I tried to file my federal and state returns: "Validation failed." As per instructions, I downloaded the latest updates for TurboTax - tried, and tried again, (6x) with the same results.
On the second day of attempting to file, I had to go through several help menus. Finally, one of these menus had the answer. I had to empty the Trash File on my computer, then do a shut-down and restart on my MacBook laptop. THEN, the transmission went through.
I never had this type of issue with TurboTax, and I have been using it for years - originally using a bunch of Floppy Disks to load the program.

For the last 7 years I have used Turbo Tax to complete and file my Federal return. It is a great value and very simple and easy to use. I trust the software and would highly recommend it to friends and family.
What's great about it: I love the we the software steps you through the process.
What's not so great: State filing should be cheaper.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

there needs to be a easier way to obtain a copy of your return than having to sign into turbo tax printing

Outstanding programs!

Very good and easy programs to use. it does most of the work for you. Love the check in the end to make sure about any errors and the efiling is very easy to use and do. Very good!!
