Easy Peasy

Very easy to use, walked me through step by step! Had energy credits this year and it was easy to add in the additional information. I also like the fact that it keeps your historical data making filing easy if most of your information stays pretty much the same!
What's great about it: Easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: Having to update software even though I just purchased it

Have used TurboTax for at least 20 years. An compleyely satisfied. Could reduce the price for long time users, though!

Did a great job easy to use

Dependent Full time student field . I was confused by the field how many months was your son away at school. At first i put in none because he drives to school every day and lives at home. Once i figured out that i needed to check that field then i could declare him a dependent and a full time student. You need to change that question to is your child a full time student and then go from there on the other dependent questions.
What's great about it: Takes care of getting all the forms from the IRS
What's not so great: Needs work on the dependent full time school field

Great Refund Outcome!

I have used Turbo Tax for over 15 years, never any issues and refund has always been within the week.
What's great about it: Ease of filing, saving and reviews are you go along, including final review
What's not so great: Turbo Tax asked to file state return when W2 has this section as blank, since there is no state return for FL.

Dependable and User Friendly

I have used TurboTax for many years now, and find it to be user friendly. You do not need to have a financial background to understand how to use it., as it breaks terms down into basic language. The only issue I have had with it is during the error checking process, it brings me to a particular line on one of the supplemental forms, but does not explain to me what it means, requiring me to google the IRS tax forms directions themselves. Overall, it makes filing taxes as painless as possible.
What's great about it: Transfers information from year to year
What's not so great: Doesn't always explain instructions
Pros: I bought or sold investments
