Turbo Tax Makes Tax Time Painless

I love my Turbo Tax Software.
What's great about it: Easy, Supportive, User Friendly, Extremely Easy
What's not so great: Needs more Import ability form more componies on W2's
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Many of us who live in New Hampshire often work in a nearby state. We typically do not have to file a State of NH tax return but your program assumes that we do instead of having a great feature like a drop-down box that allows us to pick the ONE state we do need to use to truly file a tax return with. Hope the info helps as it would speed up the process and not force users to pay for 2 state tax returns (the one in the program plus the extra one required).

Step-by-Step Guidance!

I have been using TurboTax for nearly a decade now, and it just keeps getting better! The program literally walks you through every applicable part of your tax situation and forms, then verifies your answers as much as a software program can. Will continue to use this program for as long as it continues to be the gold standard of tax software!
What's great about it: Takes the guesswork out of your taxes

Speeded Up Prep & Refund

Didn't find an easy button to "Pause" and "Save data already entered and "return later" to complete the Return.
My version of Turbo Tax was ''''FEDERAL RETURNS plus FEDERAL E-FILE",,,,subtitle,,,,,DELUXE - MAXIMIZE YOUR DEDUCTIONS...........Nothing about "State Returns" in this product except at the end, the insistence on asking NUMEROUS questions as to whether or not I wanted t file a STATE RETURN. Florida doesn't have a STATE RETURN, that's why I didn't buy that version.
But because my name is Thomas, nickname TOM (too short), I can't use THOMAS because someone else did. So I have to phoney up a "nickname".

What's great about it: It probed all possible areas of info required for a valid Return and needed for a speedy refund.
What's not so great: Didn't seem as east to navigate Turbo Tax as in previous years. My nickname is TOM,,,,,,3 ltrs,,,,,YOU need 4 min.

Good value! It makes the task of taxes simple. Prints out all tax forms with ease!

So Easy, every year

I couldn't find my 2012 file other than the pdf on my computer and it couldn't import the information as I have in years past.
What's great about it: Consistent format each year, covered everything
What's not so great: Wasn't able to import last year's information

Good improvements each year to Turbo Tax. Long time user of Turbo tax and it gets easier to use each year.
