Keeping the line of questioning to a minimum

Keep the line of questioning to a minimum. I have very little change in my tax return from year-to-year. Make some assumptions from my prior year taxes and lessen some of the questions asked.
What's great about it: Transfer of information from the prior year, importing some of our W-2 data minimizes keying mistakes
What's not so great: Sometimes too many questions. My return is for all intents and purposes pretty much identical from year to year.

great product

I have used turbo tax for 10 years , ever since my husband went TDY to Alaska and I was left to do the taxes that year. I have been doing them ever since. I enjoy turbo tax , it is so easy and asks me everything!!!! We've gotten bigger refunds since we've been using turbo tax.
What's great about it: I really enjoy doing my taxes, it makes me feel like a profession accountant.
What's not so great: Had a little trouble getting state downloaded this year, but customer service was on it and fixed it within minutes

Great guidance

I've used this program now for at least 6 years and I love it ! I would probably not do this on my own if it were not for this program and the ease of use.
What's great about it: Appreciated being "walked through all the areas of credits, wages and deductions.
What's not so great: None.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

It's good to be back

After 5 years of having really complicated taxes (where I went to a tax professional), I decided to go back to handling my taxes on my own. It probably took me longer than a person who has been using TT all along, but the instructions were clear. I used the TT Community to handle a HSA question and received a response almost immediately.
What's great about it: Easy to follow instructions - instant responses from TT Community

Turbotax is Awesome

I have 100% complete confidence in using TurboTax. I have never had an issue. The product is simple to use and has been improved year over year with new features offered face up such as audit defense. This is the 2nd year I have used it and feel it is a small price to pay for worry free audit protection in case I myself have made a mistake. I have no reason to use another product or go to a CPA.
What's great about it: I have used Tuarbotax for over 17 years and have never had an issue.
What's not so great: Absoutely none

It's amazing to me that this program is so inexpensive, considering everything it does, and how easy it is to use. I used to spend in the thousands for professional tax prep software when I was a CPA, and this program is better in many ways. The only shortfall (and I consider it minor) is that it is not clear how the sale of a real estate property, held for investment, should be handled. I got a 1099-S from the title company, and it took quite a while to figure out where and how it should be reported. Also, the way a 1099-SA (for HSA accounts) is a bit unclear.
What's great about it: Easy to use, intuitive, fast. How can it be this inexpensive!
What's not so great: 1099-S handling. 1099-SA a little clunky.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Major problem

Your system refuses to file my return because it insists that the fedral ID no must have 6 digits and the number assigned only had 5 digits. I need help badly
