this is a great product, as one who has done my own taxes manually before, this makes the job MUCH easier and less stressful

Simplest way

I've used TurboTax before and will use it again. As long as I have all my documents collected I can proceed without interruption. I do organize all my deductions, such as medical, beforehand and have the completed summaries before I start TurboTax. I use the explanations and "help" in many of the categories, just to make sure I'm on the right track.
What's great about it: import info from last year. Help at the press of a button.
What's not so great: Some topics need more explanation

Patient Helpers

Overall, I am very happy with Turbo tax because you make filing as simple as possible. Your HELP are very knowledgeable, courteous and patient. A great tool to help with tax preparation.Step by step!!! Almost easy peasy!
What's great about it: Not being computer savy, I appreciate your patience and help.
What's not so great: Even with T Tax, filing can be stressful.

I like how many detailed questions the program asked but it seemed a little confusing to go back and change my entries.
What's great about it: Very detailed
What's not so great: Hard to go back and change things
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Another Great Victory!

Have used Turbotax for years, and have always found it easy and complete. My ONLY complaint is that Form 8283 should allow "Various" for the dates of "Contribution" & "Acquired" without using the override for those of us who submit a list of donations to one entity over the year. Warn about the e-file, but don't show as an error unless the e-file is selected.
