After the second year I found it very efficient. It even reminded me of the child tax credit that I keep on forgetting. All of this and I do not have to worry about missed appointments because of 15 inches of snow.

Somewhat disappointed this year.

This year TurboTax did not pick up on my 2013 Maryland State Tax Return the $5,000 military retirement income deduction, which it did on the 2012 Return. This deduction is listed in the 2013 Maryland Tax Instructions. Nothing had changed in my military retirement income from 2012 other than a sllight increase in the pension amountshown on the 1099 received from the military disbursement agency . Since I was unable to coax TurboTax to include this deduction, I feel it necessary that I have to file my Maryland return for 2013 manually. This should not be since, among othe things I paid for the state return to be filed electronically. If you have any suggestion to avoid filing mechanicallly I would love to hear them.
What's not so great: TurboTax seemed to have missed a $5,000 military retirement deduction on Maryland State Tax Return.

Turboed thru another year

I've been using Turbo Tax for 10 - 15 years now I think since 1999 with my old windows 3.0 computer. Today it took about an hour including loading the program...
What's great about it: Fast & Easy

Quick and Easy

Made filing taxes very easy. I can't say it was fun, but it was painless. I also like the convenience of having an electronic record of my tax returns. It's been very helpful for some recent financial transactions.
What's great about it: Quck and Easy
What's not so great: Can't think of any
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Except for the updates, same wonderful program as the last seven years. Do something with the updates, OK?

Gettting my Refund is EASY
