Great experience

Have been using this product for about 9 years, with never a problem. Friends have complained about the "other" big name tax software program, but after they tried Turbo-Tax, they have all been happy with its ease of use.
What's great about it: Easy to use.

This is the 4th year I've used Turbo Tax for both Federal and State returns. Couldn't be any easier.
What's great about it: Easy to follow with step by step instructions.

1. I had to restart some 1099 stuff because it as too easy to overwrite the company name - ir should be locked by default unless specifically needing change.
2. The payment for state e-file is complicated - pins, numbers accounts???? Better to ignore account and reenter the data manually

Some of the audit points are confusing when you click Continue after making changes and nothing happens.
What's great about it: Entry very quick and easy
What's not so great: Make sure that all records are available before starting

I HAVE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR 15 YEARS. I ANSWERED QUESTIONS CORRECTLY. DURING CHECKING FOR ERRORS, I WAS TOLD I HAD FIVE ERRORS ON THE FEDERAL AND THREE ON THE STATE. TURBO TAX WOULD NOT ALLOW ME TO DEDUCT THE SALES TAX ON MY MOTOR AND TAKE THE SALES FROM THE TABLE. THAT LOWERED MY FEDERAL REFUND BY $30.OO. ON MY STATE RETURN, THE PROBLEM WAS TURBO TAX WOULD NOT IMPORT MY PROPERTY TAX PIN NUMBER WITHOUT WANTING TO INCLUDE THE ADJOINING PROPERTIES. I HAD TO MANUALLY ENTER IT. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER, QUICKER AND LESS STRESSFUL IF I DID IT ON MY OWN.
