Decent error checking; Fairly Fast to Complete

In General, TT Software this time was improved in how questions were written in the Step-by-Step to make things much more clear. The error checking seemed to be improved.
Noticed some things did not transfer to the state form, such as routing and account numbers, even though this information was published in the Federal form, and this information could not be added manually in the form for some reason. Small item though to write in, but crucial if your refund goes to someone else due to a typo.
In years past, TT used to have nation-wide comparisons against your results and comparable folks in similar categories. Would be nice to have something like this again, as well as by age and occupation or the ability to select the criteria.
What's great about it: Improved Step-by-Step, Better Error Checking
What's not so great: Not all items transferred from Fed-to-State (i.e. RTN and ATN info); Forms locked from editing

Tiny, Tiny type. Why can't I make it larger? Command/+ doesn't work nor do you have an option to make type larger under View
Want larger type on the W2 screen and the IT's Deductible categories.
Not including State filing via e-file for the price paid for DELUXE is deceptive marketing.
What's great about it: Goes fast
What's not so great: Fonts too small, State e-file should be included in the price

I've been using Turbo-Tax for 20 years and have always been pleased with the ease of completing my return. And, each year Turbo-Tax has been upgraded to make it more and more user friendly.
What's great about it: Very helpful for listing of stocks sold and ease of entering information required to complete my return.
What's not so great: None

Made it easy

Everything went fine as I was doing the taxes. However, for whatever reason the e-file transmission was not working. We called the help desk (wait 15 minutes) and they were able to fix the problem. In general, extremely pleased with Turbo Tax hat I used for the last five years.
What's great about it: step by step is very easy. Help desk very helpful
What's not so great: Couldn't transmit e-file until got help from the help desk

I have been using Turbo Tax for a long time and every time they ensure my returns are error free and they do maximize the refund as they claim. Keep up the good job!

Excellent, Easy to use Program

A friend told me about TurboTax about 14 years ago. I use it every year and it just gets easier. Very comprehensive with changes to the tax laws. Why have someone else do your taxes, or use another product?

Utilized Turbotax for the 4th year. The easily followed step by step instructions with associated prompts make this a simple tool to file yearly federal and state taxes. Based on inputted data the program completes calculations and recommends best options for filing. Identification of areas of concern and opportunity to correct or verify data allow for periodic and final review prior to submission.
e-file and direct deposit simplify the final steps and shorten the wait time.
What's great about it: Easily utilized to file Federal and state return, step by step walk through of all forms, performs all calculations.
