Learns the law for me

Turbo tax is a wonderful product that I have been using for over 10 years. This year it was especially helpful by being up to date with all the tax law surrounding health care taxes. However I would like to see the pricing models changed so as to include one state electronic filing. The extra fees diminish the perceived value of the product.
What's great about it: Keeps up with changes to tax law
What's not so great: 1 state filing should be included in the price
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Great Software

I have used this software for the past 14 years. I have consistently been impressed with all of the changes that have occurred over the years to help the average person complete taxes without paying an accountant. Thank you! Love it!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years and wouldn't use any other tax product. I'm sure I would have missed many important deductions if not for this great product. I LOVE TURBO TAX!!

Make Turboing EASY>>>PEASY

Here's a true story.....Way back in time I used a CPA for Business and Personal Tax work. When I retired I continued to allow him to do my personal taxes.....but at the encouragment of my very close friend, I used Turbo to track his results. Turbo showed me how to get more money 3 years running and my CPA resented my asking him to correct my returns. Finally...HE FIRED ME.!! He claimed to be too busy to work on my personal taxes. SO, WHAT.....I was now very confident in the TURBO TAX software and have used it succesfully for 5-6 additional years on my own.
I am 73 and a poor typer. As such....I hate to repeat info which I know is stored in My Turbo Tax info of last year. I wish your software would look at last years filing and not only fill in the common things but only ask me questions about the areas covered in theprevious year. I would also like a way to check/mark the exact pages I want to print, rather than having to print any group of pages I do not need. I am very confident about TURBO and appreciate your timely updates.

Easy to Use Product

I love the ease of use of Turbo Tax. I have this set up to auto renew each year which alerts me to start thinking about reviewing my documentation. Delivery is always on time.
What's great about it: Step by step takes you through every possibility for your tax return. Review for erros. Audit protection.
What's not so great: None

I found TurboTax easy to use and navigate. I did not fully understand the additional charges for e-filing multiple state returns, but I found the support rep to be friendly and helpful in his explanation.
What's great about it: Simple to install. Good step by step guidance.
What's not so great: Additional charges for e-filing additional state returns not made clear at the outset.

Good with some issues

Have used this product since its inception decades ago, and it continues to be a strong and complete program. Big disappointment with the It'sDeductible linkage and coordination not working in a useful way since it cannot separate multiuple donations on different dates to the same organization nor can inputs to the PC program be reflected on the iOS app. Worst issue by far is the utter lack of any support for the display colors and control elements which are normally customizable on a Windows display. Unlike most Windows applications, Turbotax uses its own backgrounds, highlight colors, scroll bar and elevator widths, etc., and ignores the user choices done for low vision use. Huge problem for aging boomers !!!!!
What's great about it: Comprehensive and easy to use
What's not so great: Poor integration with IT'sDeductible; cannot use Windows high contrast displays for low vision users
