Have been using Turbo Tax for a long time, since it came out. seems to get easier every year.
What's great about it: Everything, really easy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been using TurboTax for many years and it just gets better every year. The price is not bad compared to what it costs to have a tax service prepare them. I

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX FOR 4 YEARS NOW & HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM.NOT THAT DOING TAXES ARE EVER FUN BUT AT LEAST YOU MAKE IT LESS PAINFUL!!!!

Tax Credits

Having TurboTax prepare the correct forms and do the calculations for the Child Tax Credit and Earned Income Credit was extremely helpful. Could not have done it correctly by myself.

Years of Turbo Delux

Form 1099-DIV gets translated onto a worksheet and the worksheet requires a state to be filled in before I could e-file - and yet my form was blank. (I had earned no DIV only capital gains) Perhaps this is a technical flaw with the program.
After a phone call to Turbo Tax (with only a 7 minute wait - even in late February)I was told to call the mutual fund - finally i just deleted and re-enterd the form information by hand and it worked.
I really miss the comparison between this year and last year as well as the comparison with other people in my tax bracket.
What's great about it: All questions simple and simple to answer.
What's not so great: A blank on a worksheet that filled in from a 1099-DIV form prevented me form e-filing. took 2 phone calls to resolve

Turbo Tax Deluxe 2013

I normally have trouble with turbo tax installs, but this year was a breeze. No hiccups on updating as in past years as well, so overall I would say intuit finally got their act together in that department.
I've always been satisfied with the final results and the ease of e-filing and tracking the status of my return.
Some people got errors when e-filing this year, fortunately I was not one of them. A patch was just released on 2-17 that fixes the problem.
What's great about it: Finally no problems with install or updating
What's not so great: A few bugs that thankfully didn't affect me.
