There is no place a person can have their taxes completed by anyone and receive the support that Turbo Tax provides.
What's great about it: Guide through and Professional (Superior) Support

Every year tax prep seems to get easier because of the data carried forward and I have learned what data I need to enter. I Like being able to enter data in increments (as it arrives in the mail). I like being asked, "you entered xxxx last year do you need to enter xxxx this year?"
What's great about it: Provides and completes all required forms.

I am a first-time user. The program really did take you step by step in completing the answers to questions regarding income and deductions. The program would review each section at the end of each category. You can see if something doesn't look just right. I had put too many numbers in one category. The program showed me the numbers I had entered. I was able to correct immediately. All in all the experience was as painless as dealing with IRS matters can be. I will continue to use the program in the future.
What's great about it: Easy to install, easy to read, easy to fill in the blanks. Program double and tripple checked your enteries.
What's not so great: I think check for updates should be right at the beginning of the program

When I completed forms and tried to e-file, I only got message that it was rejected and to check for updates. of which there were none, and that if it continued to reject, I shoud file paper return, although I had already paid for state e-file. It took hours for me to review everything several times, and I finally figured out that I needed to get new e-filing pins and additionally the IP PINs though I had not had any problems with Identity Theft. More specifics up front on reason for e-file rejects would have been helpful. I have used Turbo Tax for several years and will continue to do so, and I hope this helps you for next year. Thanks.
What's great about it: Cost, Ease of use except for 1 Con
What's not so great: The IRS new requirement for IP PIN was not adequately explained.

I have been using Turbo Tax for as many years at it has been available. I have no financial experience, and I was able to work through the program without a hitch. I guess IRS likes it too because I have never heard a peep from them. Every year there is another improvement so keep doing what you are doing. I love it.
What's great about it: transfer from 2013; transfer to state forms; easy to work through the program
