It would be nice if Turbo Tax made it clear (once you entered) your occupation, that it was looking and checking for all categories that pertain to teachers/educators when guiding your through the steps.
What's great about it: Efficiency
What's not so great: Occupation specific focus not emphasized

Compared to the problems with last years software updating this year was back to the normal standard I expected from you software and I am sure your happy I gave it another try. Only my years of past experience with yout product kept me as a customer.

Fast calculations!

I really like Turbo Tax but found some of the questions redundant. I knew I wanted to take the Standard Deduction and not itemize, but I was led through all the steps of itemizing and really wanted to skip possible deductions for itemizing. I found the continuing screens asking me to download (and pay) to do state tax frustrating, since Turbo had already stated Florida had no state form to file (which I knew). From my records I had small payments which had been taxed and I wanted to declare them, but they were so small I was not issued a W-2 and Turbo put them under W-2.
What's great about it: All calculations done in seconds when I used to manually have to make the calculations and then return to the main form.
What's not so great: I live in Florida where there is no state tax which Turbo confirmed and then kept asking me to pay to file state tax

non taxable contributions show you owe taxes unless u figure out how to cancel them.
What's great about it: fairly comprehensive
What's not so great: some information come later in the process than it should.

A No Brainer!!!

I have been using Turbo Tax for MANY years and would use nothing else!! I have told many people about how easy and most of all - ACCURATE it is. If you are afraid or reluctant to try it --DON'T BE !! You will wonder why it took you so long to use it !!
What's great about it: Easy to understand - walks you through !!!
What's not so great: None

Always Easy to Use!

I have used TurboTax for many, many years. It is great when you can retrieve information from the prior year and it automatically updates all of your information. If nothing changes much from year to year, tax preparation is actually a pleasant and uneventful process.
What's great about it: Ease of Use
What's not so great: Occassional confuse on odd items.
