super duper return

fast and easier than last year.. will keep using turbo tax as long as you keep putting them out...could be a little cheaper for poor folk , but its still works..thanks

What's not so great: my computer poc
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I find some of the questions to be a little hard to understand. Example would be in regards to SS income I had no idea turbo tax automatically put the percentage of what was taxable in. Would have been nice to know this. Plus I find it hard to change anything once you put it in. I have been using Turbo Tax for over 7 years but still find it not to be easy, but much better then anything else out there. This is just as long as you have knowledge of how to prepare tax documents. A rookie would be confused to say the least.
What's great about it: Easy to use if you have a basic knowledge of tax preperation
What's not so great: Does not capture all information from previous year to update

Easy Peasy

By far the best tax program I've used and I have been doing our joint returns for several years now. Explains everything in easy-to-understand language. I always recommend this program to anyone I know who does their own taxes.
What's great about it: Easy to understand language; explains everything clearly each step of the way
What's not so great: It's still a tax program and even though it's easy to use I hate doing my taxes!

Your state program is not working correctly as of 2/19/2013.
Had to over ride $0 for joint filing credit. I was entitled to $153 as a credit. Get it together or I'm going back to H&R Blocks program. Very disappointed with you guys.

What's not so great: Glich in the State of Ohio, doesn't pickup Joint Filing credit

Took a lot of work and made it easy

Excellent software. I have used others and this is by far the best. Ease of use, correctness of input fields and a great job of looking for errors or missed information before filing electronic return. I recommend using this software for those people who need accuracy and performance.

When I had trouble getting our return to file, I called the number listed for help. The man on the other end was very helpful and patient with helping me solve the problem. He was very friendly and very clear as sometimes computers can be tricky.
