Super Easy!!!

I have had our taxes professionally done for the last 17 years by a professional CPA. This year I decided to give both TurboTax a try as well as the CPA to see how they matched up. Well after using TurboTax and literally just finishing minutes ago; I have decided to forego using the CPA. It is super easy and simple!! The software holds your hand every step of the way and even brought up some deductions I didn't know existed!! I really have a feeling this type of software is what the CPA uses anyway??....I don't know but it kinda makes you wonder. Anyway I won't lie, it is time consuming but very very easy to use software! Highly recommend!!

Good experience

I have been using TurboTax since 1996 and overall another good experience with the product (which I come to expect every year and you deliver). Efile is very good except that I would rather have not submitted it to have it sit on your servers until 1/31/2014. Given what we have seen with data breaches in the past couple of months. In the future, please tell me the date they will be accepting and I can make the decision. Thanks again.
What's great about it: Interview process
What's not so great: Not telling me until after I submmitted the return that it would be processed until 1/31/2014.

State Tax

My family is made up of teenagers working at youth services and pays federal and State taxes, that i can only use this product for one State tax input, don't understand.
What's great about it: like the easy way I can go thru questions
What's not so great: Can only file One state tax

Bought Both Leading Tax Software

Bought both HRB and TurboTax for 2012 tax year. I found TurboTax much easier to use and felt that questions and help were more thorough.

Turbo tax is fast and easy Deluxe has free state it can handle busing and rentail income as well investments retirement accounts Estimated taxes E-filing and more. I have used it for many years with a business and without on and off a network I told them how I was able to run a special program to point the software to the proxy server and the next year Turbo Tax could access the proxy server on a network without the extra pice of software
What's great about it: Import w2 from ADP, E-File
What's not so great: can't scan my Wife's W2 have to type it in.
