easier refund ever

This is the second year I have used Turbo Tax, in previous years I have gone to a tax preparer. By using the easy step by step directions I was able to get the most deductions and a refund!

Adjustment to Retirement

I have used TurboTax for many years. When I retired, I had to go through an adjustment period and fine tune my withholding from my income sources. I like to owe a little bit to not be appealing to identity thieves, but not so much as to have a financial burden every tax season. Turbo Tax has helped me hit that sweet spot.
What's great about it: Figured out right withholding amounts for next time
What's not so great: Still had to pay (my fault) this time

I am satisfied more and more every year with Turbo Tax. I am a single Mom so need to save money wherever I can. I feel like I get a great value with Turbo Tax and your product is easy to navigate and utilize. Thank you!
What's great about it: Ease of use, efficient, explanations are clear to understand and did not require aditional research outside of Turbo Tax

I will continue using turbo tax because of its easy and helpful ways. It makes taxes very easy to do. I have told so many about turbo tax that now they are using it too!
What's great about it: Very easy
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The state return did not inquire or deal with the Illinois State PIN numbers. as a result I had to find and manually insert the numbers because they were not transferred from last years forms.
Also, the surprise transaction fees were not appreciated, especially when you advertise 'free filing'. I think you guys are out of line on this one.

2013 Tax Filed

I find the program to be laid out well, using it to input data, looking for information, switching from one form to another all very easy to handle. I particularly like the error check at the end.It gives me the confidence that I didn' t omit anything.
What's great about it: Been using it for years. Have tried others but came back to Turbotax. It is user friendly and easy to follow
What's not so great: Haven't found any cons that is why I continue to use it year after year- and I have used it for many years

Question and answer portion not very clear as how to use and get an answer? Otherwise I have no complaints. I have been using Turbo Tax for 7-8 years now and have had no issues other than my free efile for state not being honored.
What's great about it: ease of filing and accuracy.
What's not so great: once again, I did NOT get my free state efile. At least the second year in a row.
