I have been using Turbo Tax for years. It is so much easier than doing it manually. Having all the forms you need is so much better than having to locate and pick up those forms. There was one area in which a little more detail/explanation or even an example would have been appreciated. The ability to pull in previous years information is a great feature. I absolutely HATE doing taxes; but Turbo Tax makes the task easier.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: One or two items not clear

2013 Taxes

I've used Turbo Tax for many years now. I tried a tax pro one year to compare results and, I feel, Turbo Tax is a better value. I did all of the same work to collect filing info and the accountant merely entered what I gave him. I'm sure a more complex return would be a different story. I recommend Turbo tax to friends and family.
What's great about it: Easy to use and flexible.
What's not so great: Security feature does not seem compatible with my Mac.

have very little tax preparation experience but with the help of turbo tax everything is made so easy for the price you can not find a better value,every thing is explained fully and they lead you on your way to get the best refunds possible thankyou so much for another successful filing
What's great about it: walked through all stages of tax preparation
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I HAD A PROBLEM WITH A REPORT SAYING THE FED'S WERE HOLDING UP FORMS 1040A ANF SCHEDULE B, BUT FOUND IT WAS A MAC PROBLEM. WITH THIS TAKEN CARE OF I WILL NOT HAVE A PROBLEM NEXT YEAR.
What's great about it: EASY TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
What's not so great: NONE

Two Different Refund Amounts on Turbo tax software

The "You're just about ready to file " screen was about $150. higher then the 1040 form. Why?

this year it didn't import my personal info from last years turbo tax. Not fun to re type it all.
What's great about it: get all the questions asked so nothing is left out.
What's not so great: Had to turn off and reboot computer to transmit efile, had to do this last year too.
