Easy to Follow Software

Great tax software. Extremely thorough.
What's great about it: It guides one through the tax filing process or lets one do it himself.
What's not so great: Difficult to navigate state return if one does not follow the state filing process step by step.

Fast and easy!

I have used Turbo Tax for many years. There are a few competitors out there now, but I am sticking with what has worked well for me all this time. Never audited, and I believe I have always received every Dollar of my refund that I was entitled to. My kids use it too. Good product!
What's great about it: Stepped me right through the process.
What's not so great: None that I encountered. It was a painless experience.

Beyond Easy

I enjoyed the fact that this year, the program knew where to get my W2 online. Also, the program simply "predicted" what I would need under all the sections, and made THIS the easiest year for filing EVER! ! ! ! I have been using T.T since it first hit the Market, and it's predicessors before they switched to T.T., so . . . I'm going no where, and look forward to next years program.
What's great about it: Data pulled from last years return,

This time is okay with Turbo Tax

This time, Turbo Tax took a longer time to get Arizona forms ready for us to file. I used Turbo for about 15 years and this was the first time I had to wait for Turbo to get ready.
What's great about it: e-file Federal easy
What's not so great: had to wait for AZ state forms to be ready

I love Turbotax because it allows me to file my taxes without having to pay someone else to do it. I also like the option to e-file as it simplifies things for me and saves time. I love that each year my info is automatically loaded from last year's file to this year's file. This saves me lots of time. The only problem with filing this year was that there is some kind of glitch in the mac version of the download when you try to e-file the validation fails saying there is an update needed but when you update it says no updates available. This drove me crazy and I had to search for help and was told you have to uninstall and reinstall and so forth which took a lot of time.
What's great about it: Walks you through everything, automatic updates, option to efile
What's not so great: glitch with the e-filing for mac

Easy Return with Turbo Tax

I've been using TurboTax for several years now and continue to find it easy to use and an effective, efficient way to complete my taxes. The only suggestion I might have is to provide a summary of the updates that are made so the user can understand whether it impacts their return.
What's great about it: The walk through feature made it easy to complete my taxes.
What's not so great: Almost every time I launch the program, there's some sort of update. I wish I knew what those updates were.

I have been using Turbo Tax since it came onto the market. I have always had trust in your product. It's not the cheapest program out there but it's well worth the price for peace of mind.
What's great about it: Love the speed and conveniance
What's not so great: It's taxes!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
