Fastest prep yet!

Maybe a checklist before I begin based on the prior year's return might be helpful to me to make it go even faster. I love the 'Learn more' button as it explains it in a nutshell.
What's great about it: The transfer of the prior year's return makes all the difference in a speedy and accurate return.
What's not so great: The cost of the software.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

We have used Turbo Tax for several years now and can't think of a better, cost effective way to file our taxes!

Great service major issue getting exile to through

When filing on my mac it kept asking for software update. No updates were available. After reading other peoples issues I had to take cd out and reboot system.
What's great about it: Easy to work with

For the most part very easy to follow and I went through all the sections. Just had problems when I did not want to efile Federal it took me a while to get through. The updater takes forever and finally had to shut it off when I returned to complete my return later.
What's great about it: Easy until the near the end
What's not so great: I did not want to efile Federal and had a heck of a time getting past that point

Easy to use (mostly)

I've used TT for several years, and this is the only year that I've run into problems that I just ended up deleting the return I was working on and started over again.
I haven't had a schedule K for a few years and this year's return kept asking me to enter information from a schedule K. I had to look up online how to fix it and ended up having to manually delete the form.
Also, I ended up someone entering that I wanted to put away $5 each paycheck for next year's return, which I don't want to do. I didn't know how to erase that.
Except for these two issues and having to restart my tax return, I'm happy with the product. The 2nd time through, I had no new problems (did have to delete Schedule K again).
What's great about it: Step by step guided; imports info from last year
What's not so great: Had to manually delete Schedule K form

What's not so great: If I have a specific question, it's difficult to get a clear answer.

Fast and easy. Federal and state in just under 2 hours. I like the way the program compares last year and this years numbers while preparing.
What's great about it: Guided tour through all topics
What's not so great: going back to make changes is clunky
