I can file with confidence with Turbo Tax. I have been using Turbo Tax for more than 5 years.
What's great about it: convenience- Transferring information is easy with Turbo Tax
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy implementation of taxes

I enjoyed using the program (as I do year after year). The program is simple and I like the advantage of having an option to NOT go throughout he interview. I have been doing taxes for many years and like the ease of going directly to the portions that I need to go to.
What's great about it: Downloadable forms from financial institutions
What's not so great: Sometimes confusing, but explanations help much
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

The best of times- the worst of times

I have been using Turbo Tax for over ten years. Each year the product improved until, perhaps, this year. The 2013 version seems a 'tad less intuitive and seems to require the user to keep going back in order to proceed. Not overly bad, and it never locks up, but it just doesn't feel as fluid as in years past. At one point, I tried to cancel an entry and the program kept prompting for data. Help was no help and the "fix" was not intuitive. Even though I figured out a workaround, the bug was an irritant.
Anyway, Turbo Tax 2013 is a solid product, but I might just go looking for another next year.
What's great about it: Good interface and handholding
What's not so great: Some things get in the way

Use Turbo tax every year. Our taxes get more involved each year. Need a little more help with some of the jargon in regards to forms and what they do. We don't all understand IRS language.
What's great about it: Answered questions when I wasn't quite sure.
What's not so great: Sometimes a little too much tax jargon. Need it in plan english.

I like it that you save all the info from the previous year so it does not take as long to complete the following year.
What's great about it: Simple step instructions, even for someone who is not computer saavy.
What's not so great: I've been filing w/ turbo tax for 5 years and I do not see anything complicated.
Pros: I bought or sold investments
