Turbo Tax Deluxe for Mac was just as user friendly as prior year's versions were for a Windows computer. I was concerned that would not be the case based on my experience moving from Quicken Deluxe for Windows to Quicken for Mac.
Good job on Turbo Tax for Mac.
Now it's time to upgrade Quicken for Mac.

Good program but there should not be a state filing fee or extra charge to have fee subtracted from refund.

The program is very comprehensive and leads you along to get all of the items accounted for. The biggest challenge is getting all of the paperwork ready for use when strolling through the federal governments way of indenturing you for life. I liked the way the program asks for details especially concerning the educational credits available for those of us who are paying for college out of our pockets. I bought the program on disc and could have updated it right off the bat with my last years taxes but I did them online with my bank using TurboTax and I could not locate the file. Next year I will be all set for the import function. I always have used the discs in the past vice the cloud since I like the idea of having it all in my house vice spread across the universe.
What's great about it: Loaded and updated quickly. Great information about each form and error check caught a bunch of areas which did not get
What's not so great: Can be challenging for those not familiar with the general idea of tax code navigation but all of the info is there, you
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I moved, I bought or sold investments

This was the easiest tax program ever used.
What's great about it: Quickly found explanations for terms that confused in the past.. Easier to delete no longer needed items and to expand .

I have been using Turbo Tax for years. Simple,easy and well worth the money. Sometimes I feel it skips over a deduction in a particular category and I have to go back and look for it. Occasionally I get confused with what I need to input especially when I know there is nothing to input. But, I really like Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: It is easy to follow
What's not so great: Sometimes it seems to skip a deduction
