I've been using TurboTax for more than 10 years and I wouldn't do my taxes any other way. The guidance is fantastic. The accuracy and tools provided always meet my needs. I couldn't be happier.
What's great about it: Easy and provides great guidance
What's not so great: Waiting for final State and Regional forms. No E-File for RITA
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Easy, Easy, Easy

Because I have used Turbo Tax for 9 years, every year it gets easier. Information is transferred from one year to another and the donation program helps to estimate the value of what I donate. This year was the first time I had to use the help function because I had difficulty in submitting the return electronically. I kept getting the message that I had not updated, yet when I checked for updates there were none. It was a little frustrating. However, when I went to the community area of the program and asked for help, it was an easy fix. The program updated and I e-filed with no problem.
What's great about it: It transfers data from previous years. It asks all the right questions.
What's not so great: Had a little difficulty updating the program this year.

Quick and Easy Taxes

I've been using TurboTax for the last 20 years and will continue to do so as long as they keep the product current and easy to use.
What's great about it: Ease of use and thorough coveraged of all areas of deductions
What's not so great: Fee for filing State taxes via eFile

Saved about $40.00 by filing with Turbotax

I had a really great experience by using Turbotax for the first time this year. Also, this was the first time filing taxes by myself, and I saved a good bit of money. Also, Turbotax is extremely user friendly with step-by-step navigation. Will definitely use Turbotax next year!!!
What's great about it: Extremely easy to naviagte
What's not so great: None really

TURBO TAX DOES IT AGAIN!

I HAVE USED TURBO TAX TO COMPLETE MY FEDERAL AND STATE TAXES FOR THE LAST 10 YEARS AND EVERY SINGLE YEAR THEY GET ME AS MUCH MONEY BACK AS POSSIBLE. GUIDED WALKTHROUGHS FOR EACH SECTION OF STATE AND FEDERAL TAX QUESTIONS MAKES IT A BREEZE. ONE YEAR I USED A TAX PREPERATION SERVICE IN ADDITION TO TURBO TAX DUE TO SOME PEOPLE TELLING ME THAT I MIGHT BE LEAVING OUT IMPORTANT INFORMATION AND NOT MAXIMINZING MY RETURN TO THE FULLEST. WELL NOT ONLY DID TURBO TAX HAVE ME GETTING OVER AN ADDITIONAL $700, I WOULDN'T HAVE TO PAY THE OUTRAGEOUS FEES FOR SOMEOME TO ASK ME THE SAME QUESTIONS THAT TURBO TAX ALREADY ASKS ME EITHER! I SWEAR IT FELT LIKE THE PERSON HAD A COPY OF TURBO TAX AND WAS ASKING ME FOR ALL OF THE SAME INFORMATION. STICK WITH TURBO TAX. IT'S AFFORDABLE, TAKES ABOUT AN HOUR, AND MAXIMIZES YOUR REFUNDS POTENTIAL ALL FROM YOUR HOME COMPUTER. IT PRETTY MUCH SELLS ITSELF. THANKS AGAIN INTUIT!!!

Use it every year

We use TurboTax every year for our taxes. I wouldn't use anything else (unless they change something drastically). We also use Mint for our financial tracking, which is pretty good for a free product.
What's great about it: Easy and thorough
What's not so great: I have yet to find one

One more tax year

What I want in a tax program is a simple UI that doesn't change much from year to year, and a program that works. This year TurboTax was success, it covered everything with no problems.
What's great about it: I used the Q and A and everything worked great. The transfer from last year worked fine. The UI didn't change much.
What's not so great: None - other than that check to the IRS...
