I really like the guided tours and it doesn't take long to get the return completed. I do feel that the additional fees for state form and state e-file are too high though - its time these prices started coming down.
What's great about it: Simple to use
What's not so great: Pricing needs to come down

Turbo tax is a great product that me and my family have been using for many years. It does everything for you and takes you through the whole process step by step.
What's great about it: easy step by step instructions
What's not so great: didn't ask me if we sold a house in the initial questioning

Turbo tax or do it yourself

Initially we did the process long hand w/IRS instruction book. It took twice as long to run it thru the Turbo program (same answers) 1040A.
What's great about it: annual taxes changes, saves info year to year
What's not so great: for 1040A, Its quicker to do it yourself

I have used TurboTax for about ten years. each and every year it gets better and easier to use. I cannot imagine how much time and money it has saved me by not going to a CPA.
